Live in Europe by Melody Gardot

Music is a drug for Melody Gardot. Literally. In 2003, she was hit by a car and left for dead. After emerging from intensive care and a year in the hospital, her doctor suggested music as a way to help heal the damage to her brain that left her over-sensitive to light and sound, and unable to do simple tasks like brush her teeth. We can be thankful she would even survive such a horrific accident, much less go on to produce the powerful and beautiful music that was unlocked in the aftermath. The doctor’s prescription seems to have worked. : : 🔊 Link in bio for artist info, album links, etc. : : #explore #music #music_omnivore #jazz #singer #femalesinger #livemusic #piano #stories #comebackkid #albumcovers #nsfw
